Very attracttive shot. I like how the color of the moss on the trunk blends in well with the sky.

I know many consider these to be pests, and somewhat dull colored, yet I have always find them to be attractive and this is an excellent photo of the species.

I've always liked sparrows, and this photo is perfect. Nothing intrudes between the photographer and the little bird.

I've been trying to figure out why Valerie got such a laugh out of "a sparrow on a post" but I must be slow this morning. All I can think of is "his eye is on the sparrow" and "a partridge in a pear tree". Do tell, Valerie.
