I still see a couple, here and there, but for the most part, the butterflies have gone for the year :-( I miss them already.

Lovely shots. I've not seen any butterflies around here for a while now. It's gone so cold.

Very nice photo! I'll trade places with you! Then you could see them year round. We're in Florida looking forward to heading up north in a couple years.

Interesting. A Meadow Fritillary a month past the normal end of the species flight time, and a little west of its normal range.
