Camera-Critters #126

I posted another photo of this female Blue Dasher dragonfly as my entry for Looking at the Sky on Friday at Misty's Musings/My Dogs Keep Me Sane. However, I had so much fun chasing this dragonfly around and trying to get her cooperation for photos, I decided to post another photo of her. Besides, I really like the bokeh in this photo.

Female Blue Dasher Dragonfly...
She was a difficult and rather uncooperative model. hehe

I wasn't as lucky as you when I chased a dragonfly the other day. Mine was even less cooperating.
Great shot!

Great shot, Misty. I'm thinking this is an old girl, looking at the tattered condition of the wings' bottom edges. Wonder what great escape stories she could tell?

Wonderful! I had a large blue/green dragonfly fly past me last weekend, but it never stopped anywhere for me to take a photo or two.

This one is gorgeous. I notice that they are all over right now though I've only been able to capture one on film. They are difficult to photograph but you are the expert :)

She's really showing off her battered wings in this image. Good shot of the face.
