Looking at the Sky on Friday *A Year Ago*

(c) Misty DawnS

We are in having extremely cold temperatures... colder than normal. In addition, we are currently experiencing a winter storm with "life-threatening" wind chills, according to those people who write the warnings for the weather websites. By the way, do they still have the 'check by phone' time and temp phone number? I used to think that was so cool when I was a kid. Needless to say, I wasn't much in the mood to go out and take a photo of the sky right now. So, I thought it would be neat to see what it was like last year. I was surprised, because when I looked at the photos from January 2009, I saw blue skies. *sigh* Haven't seen blue skies here for a looooooong time. Anyway, I chose to post this photo from January 4, 2009. I hope you enjoy it.

It's so beautiful and serene. I love it and wish I were under that warm sun right now instead of these cold, snowy skies! *sigh*

Thanks for playing, have a great weekend!

Excellent colors and a very nice silhouette of the trees.

Stunning shot Misty!
The colors are so vibrant. I love the silhouetted bird feeder.

I was going to say exactly what Carletta said. That's what happens when one is a late commenter...

That sunset is simply gorgeous. The sky's on fire, I dobelieve.

I also like the silhouettes of the trees and bird feeder. Nice composition. I see what you mean about how you like silhouettes, I just saw your cow. ;-)
