(c) Misty DawnSI can't get enough of these gorgeous birds. I've tried and tried to get a photo of a Red Tailed Hawk sitting in a tree or on a post, but I've been unsuccessful. I have, however, been able to get photos of them as they fly over my head screaming down a warning at me. They are so beautiful!

A hawk is quite a bird, they float above the earth, perhaps looking for their next meal. The size of these avians does not make them appear so graceful when set against a brilliant blue sky...

Too cool! We saw 2 red tailed hawks flying over the zoo Wednesday, but I wasn't quick enough to catch them.
