Camera-Critters #81

One day, I had gone for a walk through our field.
I decided to climb a gate and walk down the road
on my way back. Our cows thought I was strange.
At least that's what I thought they were thinking,
until I realized....

Our cows...
have...
a pet cat.
Yep, the cat was just lying out in the field with the cows.
Hmmm, maybe one of the cows is afraid of mice.

I dunno.
I really dunno.

When I was a kid, we had a cat that used to like spending time with the cows in the field next door.

You'd see a cow plodding through the grass and this bushy cat's tail moving along side it..funny to watch.

We had another cat that would wander down to the milking shed at milking time. She would sit there and wait for the farmer to squirt milk from the cow's teat into her mouth...

Great photos of the cows, and the cute kittie hiding in the grass.

Misty: Funny shot of the cat, probably waiting for some action.

A pet cat! Now that's a new for me. I've seen cows with favorite toys, but never a pet cat! Love it!

T'was nice of that cow to pose for you...but I guess the cat preferred not to give away his position. 8v)

Cat or no cat, the cows probably do think you're strange - but that's OK because I'm sure they love you anyway!

Maybe the cat was hoping for some milk?
