This Great Blue Heron and I have had an ongoing relationship for a couple years now. You see, it visits my pond and then sits and watches for me to walk around the corner with the camera. THEN... it flies away. HOW RUDE! I am gracious enough to allow it to enjoy my wonderful pond, and what do I get in return??? All I get is "Talk to the tail-feathers, Lady!" pffft!

Marvelous capture of this heron in flight! I'm always amazed at how BIG these birds are. It's interesting to see them AWAY from the ocean ;--)

Yes, that is a strange relationship you guys have ;-) I've never seen one at all so at least you've got tail feathers.
