Camera-Critters #63

(c) Misty DawnS

I don't know why... I can't really tell you the exact reason... but I, for some reason, am really, really pleased with this image. Maybe it's because I've been interested in more artistic and abstract photography (or 'art') lately. I dunno. All I know is... I like this. If you don't, it's OK - I won't be upset... honest!

Don't forget Heads or Tails on Tuesday, Looking at the Sky on Friday, and for your weekend enjoyment...

I like this - the stark tree limbs and dark birds against the blue sky. It contrasts the dark and light! A lot of subtle meanings.

Silhouette shots are always very dynamic. I agree with you, I love this shot!

Looks like the movie "The Birds". They're sitting and waiting for someone to walk by.

I like it a lot!
I've always like bare branches against the sky and take many of these kind of shots in the winter.
The birds add that little extra touch - especially the little guy with his mouth open.

I like it, too. Silhouette shots are interesting, and I particularly like how the birds are set against such a deep blue sky.

I like the shot. The birds and tree in silhouette against the blue skies and puffy white clouds make an interesting contrast. It's a nice work of art which grows on a person.

I LOVE this photo. Do you know how cool of a rubber stamp this image would make? Way cool!

Our birds seem to have disappeared... oh wait... that's because I haven't filled the feeders for a week and they are disgusted with me... We do have a thrasher that has found the sand pile from our construction and regularly takes a nice sand bath... love this photo.

I like it, I think the contrast between the tree and crows on the 'darker' side and the blue sky on the 'lighter' side is beautiful.

That is a cool shot !!

The dark birds and tree limbs against the blue sky ..lovely !!

There is a dead tree, with one solitary birds nest in it, not far from my house, that absoloutely fascinates me...I just have to be there when it has the right sky behind it... :-)

Misty: I was just sorting my blackbird shot and found one of this type. What a neat cloud in the sky.
