This week's theme is Heads-"Bottle".
As you can see from the following photo (look on top of the cupboards),
Hubs and I collect bottles.
All.Kinds.of.Bottles.
It started with just Hub's milk bottle collection.
Go figure, a dairy farmer who collected milk bottles.
Then, when Hub's grandfather passed away,
we chose to take many of the bottles, which his grandmother
and grandfather had collected over the year. (They had thousands).
(c) Misty DawnSI also have a shadow box, made by Hub's grandfather, which contains various small bottles of different shapes and colors (and part of my collection of coffee/tea cups).
Oh, and if you look closely, next to the stove, you will see a wooden spice rack, which contains several little bottles for spices. I'm not going to lie to you - these bottles have never held any spices, because I would need to make labels for the bottles, then decide if I wanted the bottles/spices alphabetized or arranged according to which are used the most. That process would simply take too much time and be way to frustrating. ;-)
Anyway, I'm off to work now, and this working four jobs thing is about ready to cause me to hit the bottle. Just kidding - don't go planning an intervention for me... I don't have time for that.

I figured I would stop by and comment while I waited for John to get the heck out of the bathroom so I can get ready. arghhh Man he takes forever in there! hehe Okay I'll stop whinning and comment....
Your kitchen is very nice and much more organized then mine! I have some old milk bottles that were dad's.
Cool bottle collection. I could never take a picture of my kitchen, it's never clean enough.
I used to collect little bottles I would find here and there, but somehow along the way they got lost.
