Gearin' Up for the Finale

(c) Misty DawnS

Tonight is the season finale of my current favorite show, Greatest American Dog. I am looking forward to, in approximately one-half hour, sitting in front of my television and cheering on the human-dog team I want to win.

At the beginning, when I first started watching the show, I had two favorite teams. I loved Teresa and Leroy, because... well, DUH... you see, Leroy is a Border Collie! I had to cheer (rather loudly at times) for the Border Collie! If I didn't, I'd have three black and white dogs locking me out of the house and refusing to allow me back in until I apologized.

My other favorite team was Bill and Star. Please don't ever tell my Border Collie crew, but I think I wanted Bill and Start to win the whole dang show. They were amazing. The bond they shared was so heart warming and special, it often caused me to tear up during the show.

Unfortunately, both of my favorite teams have been kicked off the show (even if I think it is a bunch of crap). So, now, of the remaining teams, I want Galaxy and J.D. to win. She is an absolutely amazing dog.

You can bet I'll be cheering for her. GOOOOOO GALAXY!!!

I think you need to quit having favorite teams. ;) And that's all I'll say about that just in case you aren't watching live.

We loved Bill & Star too. Heartbroken when they left! Lamb's favorite was Preston. She now wants a Pomeranian shaved exactly like him. She just adores that little doggie!

Commercial's over! Tah!

Don't know the show but I'll cheer for you too! GOOOOOOOOOOO GALAXY!

Oh - and I will cheer ANY border collie, the most intelligent (and imho beautiful) of any in the dog world. ;0)

I was rooting for Bill and Star, too. I also thought Laurie and Andrew were going to be the ultimate winners, and I was surprised that Presley won.

I never thought JD and Galaxy had a chance because Victoria Stilwell was so against his training methods. Then Alan chimed in with what a robotic performance Galaxy gave on many occasions.

Teresa was by far the best sport of the group -- she is someone I admired as a person from the get-go.
