Hail Hail... Baseball Hail!
Tuesday, July 29, 2008
So, it was Sunday... Hubs and I had gone to church and then spent some time with Hubs driving through the country so his wife could leap out of the moving vehicle to take photos of the nature and wildlife she spotted. Hubs continued to request that I please give him a little bit advanced notice before I went leaping out of the vehicle. Geesh, he's so demanding ;-)
Yes, it was a beautiful day, as you can see...
One of those blue sky, puffy clouds, sunny, beautiful days...
(c) Misty DawnSTHEN, it turned to this...
This is what the skies looked like before and after hail stones
bigger than baseballs fell from the sky.
I can't tell you what the sky looked like during the hail,
because I couldn't see it, and I was too busy running from window to window
in awe of this act of nature.
Yep, that's our weather this Summer. Rain... Storms... Rain... Hail... Rain... Floods...
Did I mention Rain?
It's enough to make you seriously consider getting extra term life insurance!
Hail Hail... Baseball Hail!

Us folks in California would love some of that rain. It's so very, very dry here. What a fun afternoon though. Even with the hail. Have a great day. Big hug. :)
It would be so nice if we could regulate the weather! One good heavy rain per week to benefit the crops and gardens. Not too much, and not too little. There's never a happy medium!

For your own safety I think you need to come to Canada ASAP!
I hope the hail didn't damage anything.
Beautiful photos!
The first is lovely!
