Sky Watch Friday
Thursday, May 15, 2008
On this particular day, I actually got several photographs of birds that I am rather proud of and are much better 'of the bird' than this photo. However, I thought this photo was very appropriate for Sky Watch. I think it is neat with the jet stream going over the bird. What I like even more, is how the bird's beak seems to be making the same shape as the jet's streak ;-) OK, OK, I'm done being corny now, and, rather than sit here and type about Zero Halliburton, I'm going to get some much needed sleep.

What a great capture, I thought it was two missiles being fired at a giant bird...
Great Sky Watch and thank you for taking time out to join in again .
OOoohhhhh !!! This was a really great shot... The stripes on the sky, with the lovely bird in front.
This one i like a lot !!
Nice weekend wishes to you, from Norway.
Is that a Brown Thrasher? Nice shot of the sky too with the jet contrails.
Another great photo by you!
I like that bird too--I bet it was singing at the top of its lungs. I like that jet stream too.
That is such an interesting photo with the jet streams against this lovely bird capture. If I had my choice of flight, I would much prefer that of the bird. Karen
That is a great capture to get that bird and the jet contrails both together. You did good here.
I like the same things you like about this. I didn't notice the bird's beak until you pointed it out, but the first thing I noticed was those jet trails pointing to the bird. Good job!
Great photo, Misty!
Beautiful:)
Petunia's SWF

Great shot, looks lake the bird have made those stripes!
Love this Misty - the bird, the contrails, the blooms, - very nice!
this is a great, well done.
Very cool! :)
Whenever Aidan sees the jet streams in the sky he says it's Star Scream...you know the transformer plane. Yeah, it's okay I didn't have a clue what he was talking about either at first until Aurora de-coded it for me. LOL
Really great shot!
Ha ha...great capture.
great catch
I like your bird and your sky! Neat photo.
