When we were preparing to move out here from Ohio to Missouri, my father-in-law and husband decided that they didn't want to leave the equipment building that we had on the Ohio farm. So, they took it apart, piece by piece, and moved it to Missouri! Then, my dad, my husband, and my father-in-law spent a month putting that building back up in its new place here in Missouri. Yes, that was quite the chore, but it was certainly worth it.
Steel buildings are very popular here, for many reasons. They are weather resistant, easy to maintain, durable, cost efficient, and attractive. If you drive around the area where I live, you will see steel buildings serving many purposes. You will see metal equipment buildings, garages, storage sheds, workshops, and even barns and livestock buildings. In addition, you will see many houses with steel roofs. In fact, we just put a hunter green metal roof on our home, and it looks great. It matches the hunter green roof on our steel equipment building.
There are even metal building kits you can get now if you desire to put up a metal building. These kits make it much easier. I bet my dad and husband wish they would have had a kit. However, my husband won't hesitate to say that all the hard work and travel time to bring that building out here was entirely worth it. In fact, now he wants to put up metal buildings to serve the purposes of a garage and a livestock building!
