PhotoHunt: Wooden
Saturday, February 23, 2008
I've joined PhotoHunt on this blog, and this week's theme is "Wooden".
How about a bird on a wooden branch? I think something is wrong with my telephoto lens for the camera, because it seems to be blurring the photos around the edges when I have the telephoto lens attached. Just another reason I need that Canon I've been dreaming about.
How about a bird on a wooden bird feeder? This bird feeder is very special to me, because my father-in-law, whom I am extremely close to, made it. I love it because it is huge. So, it holds a lot of seed and has room for many birds to be eating at one time.

Okay, I know you didn't do it on purpose, but the line "Just another reason I need that Canon I've been dreaming about.", had a new amusing slant to it with the photos missing. I would love a new Canon with the flashy big lenses too. I would love to do more photography. We just have a cheapo digital but some photos turn out not so bad, and my daughter does some amazing closeups with it. Have a good weekend.
Lovely pics - such cute birdies! So you call them chickadees over there? We have them in the UK, too, but we call them coal tits. I always wondered what a chickadee was, LOL. Hope you're having a good weekend.
Cool shots both, leave the blurring aside, it really didn't harm this little fatso.
Cheers.
Wonderful chickadee photos! I love shooting these little creatures; they are very engaging. My PH:Wood is here. Thank you.
Lovely photos, quite delightful! Such tiny collections of fluffy feathers - I love small birds (could you guess?)
These pictures give e hope that Spring is on its way...
Cute little birdies!
Now I can see the pictures! Love your take on wooden!
